A mainstay of the
world economy is supported by companies that transport goods
from suppliers to consumers. Ocean going cargo ships fulfill an import role in this
economic process by transporting materials from port to port
across the world on a daily basis.
Many of these cargo vessels have large holding tanks to
transport liquid products.
Once delivered, the liquid substances can be difficult
to completely remove from the holding tanks.
In particular, paraffin based products and petroleum
based products can leave a heavy residue on the sides of the
tank. This
residue must be removed before the tanks can be re-used for
transport.
The maritime tank
cleaners provided by GDP have been in use for over eight
years. These
cleaners have proven to be very effective in removing residue
from paraffin based products, such as crude oil, waxes,
paraffin, asphalt, tar, creosote, long chain fatty acids,
petroleum byproducts and other hard to remove hydrocarbons.
These products are save, easy to use, biodegradable,
and they have been approved by the International Maritime
Organization (IMO) for use in international waters.
Para Trooper is
currently being used by the Stolt-Nielsen Transportation
Group. They have
found that Para Trooper solves their cleaning problem in a
